ÀÛ¾÷À» ÅëÇØ ÇϳªÇϳª¸¦ º¸¸é ¾ÆÁÖ ÀÛ°í ¹Ì¾àÇÏÁö¸¸ ÇÔ²² ¸ð¿´À» ¶§ ÈûÀ» °¡Áö°í Àǹ̸¦ °¡Áö°í ÀÖÀ¸¸ç, °Å²Ù·Î µ¹¾Æº¸¸é ±× ÀÛÀº °ÍµéÀÌ ÇϳªÇϳª ¼ÒÁßÇÏ´Ù´Â À̾߱⸦ ÇÏ°í ½Í½À´Ï´Ù.
My works start from units which look like small seeds or leaves. Leaf-like tiny images are overlaid on top of one another through printing process, and this overlaid images are again combined with painting elements. This complicated work procedure is used to create a unique and special impression for the works. The image made through the accumulation and repetition of small cells ultimately form individual shapes and repeatedly attempts various metamorphosis. The image on the canvas varies from work to work. However the theme underlying all my works is expression of the intrinsic quality of the nature which is suggestive of circulation, repetition and change.

ÃÖÁöÀ± ÀÛ°¡ÀÇ ÀÛÇ°Àº µ¿¼¾çÀÇ °¨¼ºÀ» ¾Æ¿ì¸¥ °¨¹Ì·Î¿î »ç¶ûÀÇ ¼Á¤½Ã´Ù. ÀÛ°¡´Â ½ÅÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁØ ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î ¼±¹°ÀÎ ²É°ú Àΰ£ÀÌ ¸¸µé¾î³½ ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î »ç¹°ÀÎ º¸¼®ÀÇ Á¶¿ì¸¦ ÇÑ È¸é¿¡¼ ÀÌ·ï³Â´Ù.

Jeeyun Choi's work is a lyric of sweet love that embraces the sentiments of the East and the West. The artist has achieved on one and the same painting an encounter between flowers on one hand, a beautiful gift that God has given us, and jewels on the other, a beautiful object created by humans. Although jewelry is usually used as a symbol of desire, the artist seeks to sublimate the 'power of love' beautifully through the encounter of flowers and jewelry. Choi has found a way to fully express the power of love that can overcome even the laws of nature. Her jewelry painting contains the omnipotence of an oracle who deals with love. More importantly, the work makes us realize that the true protagonist was ourselves who were looking at the drawing. With unique techniques and screens, it demonstrates the utopia in reality that we have always dreamed of.
